CIDS - Centre for digital and social inclusion

The CIDS is a project of social and digital inclusion, which was founded on March 7, 2003 by Franciscan friars of the province of Santa Cruz in Minas Gerais. The main objective of this project is to protect children, adolescents, seniors and families, who attend the CIDS, from dangerous situation that many of them live.

Is a free project, which is very dedicated by human and social development of poor people. They are peolple with any disability, trying to join them in the labor market, through digital inclusion. Besides the computer courses, is also offered interactive workshops and lectures.

The CIDS provides a living space of digital citizenship, where you can made searchs and projects. There are three levels of performance of CIDS:

1. INCLUSION: Includes people in a social and cultural context;
2. PROFESSIONAL: Contributes to extend the possibilities of integrating people into the social market;
3. GENERATION OF INCOME: Helps people with entrepreneurial able to conduct their own business, ensuring their livelihood.

Besides all these works of CIDS, it supports and stimulates the generation of income through entrepreneurship; contributes to inclusion of people with disabilities, placing them in the educational activities undertaken by the organization develops the social consciousness, provides tangible contribution to society becomes more human, fraternal, friendly and promoter of social and economic development, expressed through real actions and effective inclusion, the Franciscan-Christian spirituality that underlies the organization's institutional values.
